Timber Flood Doors

Flood Divert timber doors are all made in Accoya which has a 50 year guarantee against rotting when it is above ground. Yes it will require a bit of TLC (treatment) over the years but because Accoya has minimal movement the stain/paint finish tends to last longer between coats. Yes it will require a service occasionally to ensure it is in full working order same as the upvc and composite doors but the general life span of a upvc/composite door is approx 10 years before it may need replacing (this can vary depending on how much use it takes) where as the timber door will keep on going, the lock may need changing eventually? after a longer period and also the seals? but this will be a minor cost in the long run compared to fitting a new door every time.
The door is manufactured to fit your particular door frame and is installed by trained professionals with many years experience in fitting these types of products, it can be fitted within a day and give peace of mind for years to come.
Door Features:
Manufactured from Accoya, Secured flood resistant system, Fully fitted sealed Door frame, Fully waterproof door core, 1 Year Manufacturing Guarantee, 1 Year Installation Guarantee, High Quality Locking system, Passive protection from flooding, Installed by fully trained and qualified technicians, Wide choice of styles, colours and finishes available
Why choose a timber flood door over a plastic upvc or composite door?
Timber doors are great for not only listed buildings and conservation areas but general properties as well, this is because they are aesthetically better looking than upvc and composite and they can be made to replicate any new or existing style required.
